Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. He began his career with the roles he played in TV series for instance, Opposite Sex which premiered in 2000. Following appearances in several teen films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans played in various films based on graphic novels and comics, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America is featured in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019, brought him more appreciation. His work on the Marvel series made him one of the most highly paid actors.
